Scrap Metal Recycling
Access Recycling provides scrap metal recycling service to industries. They are based in Barmedman, NSW and have recycling yards in Cobar and Griffith and have experience in the industry for over 30 years.
Access Recycling offers a range of scrap metal recycling solutions. These include: scrap metal recovery, process and classification, bulk scrap transport and environment care.
Their mobile scrap metal recovery equipment specialises in removing scrap from industries and farms. The hydraulic excavators are fitted with power grapples used for crushing large machinery. The metal items that are recycled include car bodies, fencing wire, old farm machinery, white goods and corrugated iron. Access Recycling uses modern and well-maintained equipment ensuring optimum results. A weight ticket generated from a register public weighbridge is given to customers for them to know how many tonnes of metal are removed from their property.
With the right equipment and experience, Access Recycling is able to remove scrap metal from factory demolition sites, mining shut downs, and train derailments as well. At Griffith, Access Recycling recently opened a complete non-ferrous metal recycling service. Besides, they also recycle gypsum core from damaged gyp rock products collected at CSR’s manufacturing plants.
Access Recycling owns a large fleet of custom built 115 cubic meter B double tipping trailers, which have the capacity to transport large quantities of scrap over long distances efficiently. Where environmental safety is concerned Access Recycling staff works in areas where safety and pollution are of the highest concern. They have also done extensive work in rehabilitation of Council landfill sites. Recently Access Recycling completed a scrap rail recovery project with their unique mobile sleeper grinder machine. This work was accomplished during one of the hottest periods when the danger of fire is very high.
