Electric Kilns

Kilnwest is situated in Bassenden, a suburb of Perth in Western Australia and has been in the business of manufacturing high quality kilns. Since 1972 product lines of Kilnwest were known by the name of Robertson, but from 1989 onwards the name was changed to Kilnwest. In the beginning the kilns were designed to the specific requirement of the Educational Department for schools and colleges. Therefore the main consideration was to ensure the highest safety standards to shield staff and students from any possible harm. The project has been has flourished and has an estimated 600 kilns being used in Western Australia schools.

Kilnwest has managed to grow the business and now produces a variety of kilns, hotplates, ovens and furnaces which have been customised for various requirements. Kilnwest also specializes in electric and pottery kilns.

The Kilnwest Company also produces a special product line of Glass furnaces. The glass furnaces come in various dimensions depending upon the requirement. The company produces large pizza ovens that are easy to use and even easier to install. The oven can also be used for breads and roasts.

The Kilnwest Company provides value added services such as after sales service, general repairs, refurbishment and supply of customised spare parts. The after sales office is located in Perth; the site has personnel that are trained to make site calls to ensure the proper functioning of the kilns.
