Kilnwest is situated in Bassenden, a suburb of Perth in Western Australia and has been in the business of manufacturing high quality kilns. Since 1972 product lines of Kilnwest were known by the name of Robertson, but from 1989 onwards the name was changed to Kilnwest. In the beginning the kilns were designed to the specific requirement of the Educational Department for schools and colleges. Therefore the main consideration was to ensure the highest safety standards to shield staff and students from any possible harm. The project has been has flourished and has an estimated 600 kilns being used in Western Australia schools.
